He says all of his past roles have been good and he'd like to say thank you to Stephen King for blessing the world with his love of horror! His favorite past role was Buddy in Elf and he's really looking forward to playing Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods later this semester! His current goal is to keep on acting possibly attending FSU and teaching at MLP. Some of his past roles at MLP include Earthworm in James and the Giant Peach and Mr. Walter Pasco (Bert) is a homeschooled 10th grader and the son of Nathan Pasco and Janae Easton. She plans to do theatre for the rest of her life! She'd like to say thanks to her family and friends for supporting and loving! Some of her past roles include Ladybug in James and the Giant Peach, Maggie in 42nd Street this past summer as the Sausage Curl Lady in Beauty and the Beast in Leon's Summer Musical. Zola Geyer (Mary Poppins) is a homeschooled 9th grader and is thrilled to be playing one of her dream roles! She loves spending time at MLP and being with sweet friends makes it even better. Some particularly standout moments were "A Spoonful of Sugar", "Anything Can Happen" "Chim Chim Cher-Ee", "Feed the Birds", "Jolly Holiday", "Let’s Go Fly a Kite", "Practically Perfect","Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" and "Step in Time", receiving riotous applause from the audience. The lead roles of Cherry Tree Lane residents George Banks, Winifred Banks, Michael Banks and Jane Banks were played by Max Foster, Chiran Weerasekara, Hudson Davies and George Rommel respectively, with Solly Tempkin starring as charming chimney sweep Bert, and Joe Fehily giving a pitch-perfect performance as the titular nanny. This week our Year 6 boys have performed in "Mary Poppins Jr", a 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' adventure based on the award-winning Broadway musical and classic Walt Disney film, a magical production which has proved to be practically perfect in every way, reminding all of us that anything can happen if you let it.
